2013 National Jamboree: Go Big, Get Wild

Posted on Aug 12 2011 - 7:30am

Get ready for the 2013 National Jamboree!  The new Jamboree location is The Bechtel Summit on the New River Gorge in West Virginia. We get to be the opening act for this new and breathtaking BSA property.  You may have heard of the Summit. The OA’s SummitCorps is already there blazing new trails in the adjacent National Forest for scouts and all to enjoy.  If you’ve ever been at summer camp at Rainey Mountain, Woodruff, Daniel Boone or a few others in the North Carolina/ North Georgia hills, then you’ve seen the kind of mountainous scenery that’s waiting for you at the Summit.  Only bigger. Much bigger.
